“Oh, look, I seem to have found five more Wellermen stories. I hope you like them.” – Wellerman – series II

Late last year, we published the first series of Wellerman-stories, and earlier this year Joshua Romig found another treasure! This is the third in a series of posts of his work.

I asked Josh what he had to tell us about them:

Honestly, I think they speak for themselves for the most part. I like them all for different reasons.

I followed a similar process to the first batch, so there is not much more to say about that. I tried to avoid repeating any already trodden ground.

I think Dust Up on New Mars does the most interesting thing in terms of an experimental structure for an adventure.

Three Ravens is probably the most unlike all the previous Wellerman-stories because it actually gives the players a fighting chance by giving the ship – “The Five” – guns.

Playing Pirates was the most fun adaptation of the source material. “Barrett’s Privateers” is such a fun song and it was a cool little puzzle to try and make all those elements fit in the structure of a game. Plus “The American Gold” is kind of a dope name for a ship.

Download the collection from the adventure section.
