When I checked my e-mail this morning, I found a promotional copy of the Trades of the Expanse: Scouts (release on Green Ronin store and DrivethruRPG today, 31.08.2023). The release is accompanied by a deep dive on today’s ThursdAGE (at 2pm Pacific, 5pm Eastern, and 23:00 CEST).
This free promo copy feels like an incredible recognition of my small part in the Expanse RPG fan community (whether on Reddit, Facebook, Discord, or elsewhere), facilitating the joy and promotion of the game through sharing our fan made creations.
It also appears that this year’s jam may come with some extra goodies (jam announcement imminent).
While I am not going to spoil any of the content (I have not had time for a deep read), my first impression is that this is a solid addition to this series of supplements. I would perhaps go out on a limb and claim that is the most meaty and content rich supplement so far. There are new challenge tests scouting, new stunts, a specialisation (as per usual), and more, much more.
