The one page adventure jam of 2022 is ongoing. The incentive for organising it this year is two-fold. The primary reason is that last year’s jam was by our* reckoning a success. We had several contributors and it appears that the adventures are being used and that the contribution is appreciated by the community.
The secondary reason was the release of Beyond the Ring earlier this year. This book contains all sort of interesting and useful information and guidelines about how to create worlds and systems within the Ring network. So, in a sense to kickstart and inspire the community, we thought a jam centred on this release would be an exciting prospect for community members.
While some groups may still not be ready to take the step through the rings, having a collection of one page adventures set on new planets available in the community can only be a good thing. More ideas and stuff can ease preparation and improvisation for GMs preparing for their players to traverse the slow-zone.
